MY FAVORITE RED LIPSTICKS
How many lipsticks is too many lipsticks? Its never enough to have multiple shades of lipstick even from the same color family. Girls obsession! One question I often get from Saurav is “Why do you have so many Red/Nude/Pink lipsticks?” But let me tell you there’s a difference! From the finish to the tone of the lipstick, it matters. I am obsessed with lipsticks and always on a hunt to find the best ones. Today on the blog I am sharing my top 10 Red Lipsticks, which looks good on every skin.
MAC- RUBY WOO
No doubt how many Red lipsticks I try, I always come back to Ruby Woo. It’s a very matte vivid blue red which doesn’t transfer (food approved)! It’s such a classic product which never fails. I often reach for this when I want a bold matte Red that last all day without the need to re-apply. This long-wearing formula features an intense color payoff and a completely matte finish. Make sure to exfoliate your lips before applying this!

MAC – RUSSIAN RED
Another MAC makes to the list. My 1st expensive lipstick that I ever bought was from MAC. I believe every girl dreamed of having MAC lipstick since their teenage! If you don’t like very matte Red like Ruby Woo then Russian Red is your gem. Its an intense bluish red matte lipstick with a creamy rich formula, features high color payoff in a no-shine matte finish.

PERSONA COSMETICS – HOLY GRAIL
This brand was created by Sona Gasparian, a full-time blogger and a youtuber. She was the 1st blogger I ever followed so, when she launched her own cosmetics line I had to buy. I do not prefer matte lips in a liquid formula as my chapped lips do not agree with it but this liquid lip is so good. Although it’s a liquid lip it doesn’t dry out my lips and somehow it also makes your teeth look whiter.

GIVENCHY LE ROUGE – ROUGE STILETTO
I got a travel size of this lipstick from my points at Sephora and then I had to buy in full size. I never tried Givenchy lip products before but now I have purchased several shades because of the formula. It has a velvety texture which glides on easily on your lips.

DIOR ROUGE – 999 MATTE
I don’t know what’s about this brand, but I love Dior so much. Whatever they come up with I will be like, take my money! And this was no exception. The 1st time I purchased Dior Lipstick was a Holiday set from Sephora (set of four mini lips). I had to try the mini before splurging on full size. One of the shade was 999 matte which I instantly fell in love with. It is a true red color which doesn’t fail.

HOURGLASS COSMETICS GIRL LIP STYLO – ICON
If you don’t like matte lipstick then this is for you. It comes in a crayon form which provides the intensity of a lipstick that’s infused with a blend of hydration for the appearance of softer, fuller lips. Icon is a blue red lipstick which flatters everyone. Hourglass is one of my favorite brand. Like Dior, I believe whatever it creates is beautiful and worth trying.

BOBBI BROWN LIQUID LIP VELVET – STARLET SCARLET
Bobbi Brown is one of the company which has multiple ranges of lipstick (read here). Starlet Scarlet is a rich red lipstick which has provides comfortable wear and vivid matte color. I would say, the packaging is not my favorite because it always gets stuck in the middle.

CHARLOTTE TILBURRY HOT LIPS – TELL LAURA
People love Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, I understand why. Her formula is amazing. Tell Laura is a warm orange lipstick which has skincare benefits as well. This is the lipstick I always gravitate to when I don’t want to wear true red but want to wear something Red.
Finish- Soft Matte
PATMCGRATH MATTETRANCE – ELSON
The coolest packaging I have ever seen. Its a dark blue red lipstick, richly pigmented lipstick with a creamy soft texture for the smoothest film of color. Each shade is enmeshed in a powder film combined with saturated pigment for lightweight opaque coverage.
Finish: Matte
SEPHORA LIP STAIN – 01 ALWAYS RED
The least expensive lipstick amongst all which works equally as others mentioned above. It provides high-coverage lip color which glides on smooth and transforms from a creamy texture into a silky, lightweight stain. It’s comfortable, never sticky, and won’t dry out lips.
Finish: Matte
