VALENTINE’S DAY MAKEUP LOOK

VALENTINE’S DAY MAKEUP LOOK

Hey guys I am back with my blogpost! It feels like I haven’t posted since ages. As you guys know I was traveling so I was not having a time to post all of the things that I wanted to. Now I am back with lots of post that I need to share! As tomorrow is the Valentine’s Day I wanted to share this look that you can recreate. With lots of pinks eyeshadow makeup going on I went onto different look, hashtag blue sparkly eyes. Here’s the break down of all the things I used to create this look.

BASE

Once I finished my skincare regimen, I applied Mac Strobe Cream in pinklite for an all over glow because you definitely want to look glowy from within. Since I tend to have some pores, I applied the Tarte Smoothing Primer only in the t-zone area. For the foundation I used Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Foundation in 3W1 Dusk which is perfect for this look as its full coverage without being heavy. Concealing the under eyes is also important so, I went ahead with my current favorite Too Faced Born This Way Concealer. I mixed two shade Light Beige and Almond for concealing and highlighting at the same time. You definitely need to set you under eyes so that you don’t crease, Hourglass Veil Powder is my favorite at the time.

BROWS

Diorshow Brow Styler in Universal Dark Brown has been my go to for now because it looks so natural. I am also enjoying the Kush Fiber Brow Gel from Milk Makeup and I used the shade Grind.

EYES

I definitely didn’t wanted pink as it was overwhelming to see so many pink looks for the Valentine’s Day so I decided I wanted some blue. I started off with Mac Cosmetics single eyeshadow in the shade In The Shadows on the crease and slowly diffused it all over the lid. Then I grabbed the Pat McGrath Labs Dark Star Eyeshadow Palette and applied the shade Deep Space onto the outer corner of the eyes. I patted in the shade Interstellar with my fingers onto the eyelids and builded it up to my desired level. Then, on the top I applied Marc Jacobs  See-quins Glam Glitter Shadow in Gleam Girl just on the eyelid for some sparkle and again finished it off with a tiny bit of Interstellar from Pat McGrath Labs. For the inner corner of the eyes I applied the shade Entice from the palette. I mixed the shade In The Shadows and Interstellar and diffused it on the lower lash line and finished off with Marc Jacobs Highliner in Blacquer on the water line. Curled my lashes and applied Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara, no false lashes.

One tip:  I always apply eyeshadow after my base. While I was applying the eyeshadows I was baking with the powder because it helps to clean out the fallout from the eyeshadows that I may have.

HIGHLIGHTER, BRONZER, BLUSH

I went on to add Marc Jacobs Dew Drops on top of my cheekbones and Becca Pressed Highlighter in Vanilla Quartz on top of that. I also applied the pressed highlighter on the tip of the nose, center of the forehead and cupid’s bow. Obviously I wanted to sculpt my cheeks so I used Fenty Beauty Match Stix Matte Skinstick in Mocha for contour and bronzed a little bit with Chanel Healthy Glow Luminous Colour in Deep. I added some blush from Make Up For Ever for a subtle rosy glow.

LIPS

Marc Jacobs Beauty has a really good lip formula. Instead on going for a red lip on the Valentine’s Day I went on with Le Marc Liquid Lip Creme in Shush Blush.

SETTING SPRAY

I used Urban Decay All Nighter and then finished it off with Mac Fix Plus. This is the only setting spray I use and this combo is a winner.

Will you guys be recreating this look on this Valentine’s Day?
